The hotel is located next to a forest overlooking Franschhoek and a farm. They upgraded me to a nice room with an awesome view of the surrounding mountains and farm vineyards. the property staff were exceptionally friendly. I had a wonderful experience at La Cotte Forest Cottages in Franschhoek. the location was perfect, with a beautiful view of both the forest and the farm. the room they upgraded me to had an incredible view of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Additionally, the staff at the property were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was great and stunning, on a dirt road through vineyards. Besides, we were short walk to forest overlooking Franschoek, and all nice shops and restaurants.

we recommend this hotel, spent here sunny 2 nights. everything here was amazing, and the weather was warm sunny, loved it. the staff was very very helpful, provided superb services and helped with free parking.

It had a nice decor. Location: the hotel was close enough to Franschhoek, forest overlooking Franschoek and all nice shops. It also was very near to restaurants.

The rooms were attractive and incredibly comfortable, equipped with a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a dining area. the garden view was a pleasant bonus. the location was beautiful and exceptional, overlooking Franschhoek's forest. We enjoyed a nice evening at Arby's, which was conveniently located within walking distance from the cottages.

loved the privacy of our cottage at the end, terrace with BBQ was a highlight, big pool with great view, short walk to main street with shops/restaurants, amazing experience at Van der Werf & nanny at tree house was a hit, well-equipped cottages with luxurious touches.

The beautiful cottages offered a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, with excellent facilities for relaxation and enjoyment. The stunning pool area provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, making it the perfect place for the kids to splash around while we enjoyed the tranquility. We also loved the option to engage in various activities like cycling and hiking, ensuring there was never a dull moment. Plus, the exclusive nature of the place allowed us to fully enjoy it with just our family.

For dads, it would be great if the cottages had easier access to the bathroom during the night. The mezzanine sleeping area's steep stairs made it a bit challenging to navigate, leading to some unintentional midnight wake-up calls.

The cottages were well-equipped and had a nice outdoor area. The pool and terrace were great. The location was convenient for exploring the area's activities.

So thankful for that bitter taste left by their incompetence.

Mind-blowing views, fantastic private pool, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, perfect for families and groups, fantastic location near town but feels secluded. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, beach umbrellas, hiking. Can't wait to come back!
